Ze kreeg deze award voor "lifetime contributions to the field of public opinion". Prof.dr. Edith de Leeuw is hoogleraar voor de MOA Leerstoel Methodenleer en Statistiek aan de Universiteit Utrecht.
"Helen Dinerman Award, presented annually in memory of Helen Dinerman’s scientific achievements over three decades of public opinion research. The award, given since 1981, honors particularly significant contributions to survey research methodology. This is a career award recognizing a lifetime of service to the profession and the discipline. Recent winners include: Hans Mathias Kepplinger. Lars Lyberg and Ronald Inglehart. In 2016 in Austin, Texas, the award was presented to Max Kaase for his lifetime contributions and achievements in the field."
